After the Petit Palais museum in Paris, the Museum of Fine Arts in Bordeaux hosts during the summer 2016, the exhibition Fantastic! Visionary print from Goya to Redon, with over one hundred and sixty prints (lithographs, etchings and woodcuts) belonging to the Department of Prints and Photography of the National Library of France.
This presentation of some of the best illustrations of the parisian institution resonates with the Museum's collection, rich of fifteen prints by Goya (died in Bordeaux in 1828), fourteen by Rodolphe Bresdin and twenty eight by Odilon Redon.
About Redon, this presentation is also an introduction to the exhibition and the symposium planned for the centenary of his death at the end of the year.
