In direct line with the exhibitions devoted to private collections the Bemberg Foundation presents the exceptional collection of Héléna and Guy Motais from Narbonne.
Dated between the 17th and 18th centuries, seventy-nine paintings and two drawings by renowned French and Italian masters - such as Charles Le Brun, François Boucher on the French side or Francesco Cairo and Donato Creti on the Italian side - will illustrate both in the religious and profane subjects the currents of caravagism and throught the intimate relationship between the work and the collector.
