After Turin, Seoul, Helsinki, Cape Town, Taipei and Mexico City, Lille Métropole has been honored with the distinction of World Design Capital for 2020. Every two years, the World Design Organization awards this title.
Autumn will be a time of revelation with the official opening of the Maisons POC, which apply new modes of production and consumption that respect the planet, contribute to the well-being of inhabitants of the Lille agglomeration, associate citizens with the development and implementation of decisions, and reforge ties between generations and with nature.
This autumn, personalities including Belgian designer Ramy Fischler and a dozen figures in design have been entrusted with organizing four major exhibitions.
