On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Brand Ricard, and in relation with the exhibition "Amitiés, créativité collective" (from October 16, 2022 to February 13, 2023) propose by the Mucem, the Société Pernod Ricard France, through its foundation, invites the artist and curator Mathieu Mercier to present, in the heart of the Mucem, an unprecedented and generous exhibition, celebrating friendship in art. 

Designed by Mathieu Mercier like a memory box, filled with images reminiscent of moments of complicity, "L'ami·e modèle" is an exhibition of artists' portraits made by artists (...) offering the glances of more than a hundred artists who allowed themselves to be captured under the glance of another. One may recognize Nina Childressin the lines of Claude Closky, Catherine Pineau in the eye of Annette Messager, Mana Kikuta by Laurent Montaron, but also works byFrançoise Pétrovitch, Caroline Mesquita, Bruno Peinado, Simone Simon, Sammy Engramer… the generations intermingle, including, for example, the young painters Christine Safa and Madeleine Roger-Lacan, both models and portraitists; some figures respond to each other in the exercise of cross-portraits; Florence Obrecht and Axel Pahlavi for instance.
