From February 9 2024, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris presents Sheer: The diaphanous creations of Yves Saint Laurent, the second chapter in a story begun last summer at the Cité de la dentelle et de la mode in Calais.
For this second installment, the Paris museum has invited curator Anne Dressen to focus on transparency as Yves Saint Laurent's preferred artistic expression.
The scenography was designed by architect Pauline Marchetti, whose work questions the sensitive dimensions of space.
The aim of this new exhibition is to explore fashion and Yves Saint Laurent's vision in all its complexity: at the very heart of his relationship with the body and revisited nudity.
