This solo exhibition by Cerith Wyn Evans, the first in France on this scale since the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris (ARC) in 2006, brings together several series of light sculptures emblematic of the artist's practice in recent years.
In this exhibition, Cerith Wyn Evans performs a veritable dance of transparency and luminosity, appearance and disappearance, sound and silence, so as to intensify our perception and challenge our conventional ways of experiencing reality, resonating new transformative experiences.
Visitors are a part of an evolving choreography of reflections and shadows, sounds and shudders. They discover a series of white neon sculptures floating, suspended in space, for which the artist has translated into neon highly stylized gesture and movement patterns performed by Japanese Noh theater actors.
