From September 20, 2024 to May 4, 2025, the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris presents The Flowers of Yves Saint Laurent. This exhibition, conceived by curators Olivier Saillard and Gaël Mamine, follows a first chapter presented at the Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech from March 2, 2024 to January 5, 2025.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors discover the iconic pieces and skills Yves Saint Laurent used to bring his flowery creations to life: here, the first appliqué embroideries of the 1962 spring-summer dress, there the virtuosity of the prints in the spring-summer 2001 collection, an unforgettable reference to the paintings of Pierre Bonnard.
In majesty, we catch a glimpse of the larger-than-life silk gazar flowers of the summer bride embodied by Laetitia Casta in 1999, Yves Saint Laurent's unforgettable silhouette.
This natural dialogue between arts and eras continues with American artist Sam Falls, whose works will punctuate the exhibition.
