This exhibition explores the concept of “Berber permanence” and the contemporary transmission and circulation of heritage within the large Amazigh diaspora, both in terms of artistic creation and popular culture. The exhibition presents around 150 objects and artworks from the 19th century to the present day, as well as a few archaeological pieces, primarily belonging to the collections of the Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts at the Jardin Majorelle Foundation in Marrakech as well as those of the Mucem, but also from public and private collections in the Canary Islands, Morocco and France, and from artists.
