From the 17 December 2010 to the 27 April, the Farnese Palace in Rome is exceptionally opening its doors to the public for the exhibition "From The Renaissance to The French Embassy". A selection of 150 works (drawings, sculptures, paintings, art objects) will bring five centuries to life through the history of the Palace, from the splendour of the Farnese family in the 16th century, through the 135 past years, when the Palace served as the headquarters for the French Embassy in Italy and the French School of Rome. An important selection of works from the Farnese collection will return from the site where it was first conceived thanks to the passion of the Farnese family.
