The Centre Pompidou Mobile is the first touring museum in the world. Its purpose is to bring masterpieces of modern art to the public, and specifically to the public distant from culture. Designed by architect Patrick Bouchain, the Centre Pompidou MOBILE (650m²) was inaugurated in October 2011 in Chaumont (Haute-Marne) and has since stopped in various locations throughout France. Libourne will be the next stop for the new hanging on the theme « Round and Square ».
