MEL Publisher, a publisher specialising in prints, will be exhibiting at Art Paris 2025 from 3 to 6 April on stand B18.
This is a first in the history of this publishing house, which was founded ten years ago by Michel-Édouard Leclerc, and whose aim is to make contemporary art accessible to all art lovers, whether curious or well-informed connoisseurs. As part of a drive to break down barriers between the arts, MEL Publisher seeks to promote printmaking in all its forms, particularly lithography, engraving and screen printing. MEL Publisher works with renowned contemporary artists and the best art studios to create high-quality prints in limited editions. Visitors will be able to preview three new works created especially for the show by artists Chourouk Hriech, Thomas Lévy-Lasne and Agnès Thurnauer.
In keeping with the theme of Art Paris 2025, ‘A look at figurative painting in France’, Lucas Hureau, director of MEL Publisher, has invited Pascale Le Thorel, art critic and curator, to select the publishing house's most emblematic artists for this event. Together, they will be showcasing works that question and reinvent figuration in contemporary art, a resolutely topical theme.
